Blizzard has teased the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3 with a new website ahead of a potential reveal next week at the gamescom convention in Cologne in Germany.
The teaser site quotes the Book of Tyrell saying "Death, at least, shall spread its wings over all." Otherwise, the site is blank except for Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls trademark notices.
Blizzard's president and co-founder Mike Morhaime recently announced that the company would be hosting a press conference at gamescom where they will be "sharing more Diablo-related news."
The media briefing is set for August 21st at 11:30 CEST (10:30 BST, 02:30 Pacific).
The existence of an expansion for the game was first revealed in an investor conference call in November 2012 when Morhaime said that "the most important thing for us always comes down to the quality of the expansion and the gameplay, and so that will be a big factor in terms of driving our schedule."
Diablo 3 is set to be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 later this month. A PS4 is also in the works but will miss the console's launch window.
