The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame Announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC; Set to Release Early 2019

TT Games has announced today the next upcoming LEGO title will center around the upcoming movie — LEGO The Movie 2.

The title is set to release on February 26 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC; while Nintendo Switch users wait an extra month until March 26.  The game will follow the movie’s storyline and serve as a movie turned video game.

The gang is all back which means players will see returning faces such as Emmet, Lucy, Batman, as well as new characters such as General Mayhem and Rex Dangervest. Sean William McEvoy, VP Digital Games & Apps, The LEGO Group had a few things to say for the announcement of the game:

“Players must scour the stars for rare items, materials and tools to complete their collections and help their journey across the LEGO® universe, experiencing a wide array of amazing environments, wacky vehicles and incredible creatures along the way.”
