Nintendo Direct Tomorrow Focuses on Wii U and 3DS Games

August 6, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Nintendo Direct will focus in Wii U and 3DS games.

Tomorrow Nintendo will broadcast a new Nintendo Direct to focus on providing updates for games coming to the Wii U and 3DS the rest of the year.

In light of positive reviews for Pikmin 3, Nintendo needs something positive to rally behind with the abysmal Wii U sales over the past three months.

To build some momentum towards the fall releases for the Wii U and to combat the hype for the new generation of competing consoles, expect both Satoru Iawata and Satoru Shibata to show more on games like Donkey Kong Country Returns: Tropical Freeze and Super Mario 3D World.

For the thriving handheld, expect to see 3DS titles like The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Sonic: Lost World.

The Nintendo Direct Broadcast will begin tomorrow at 7am PT or 10am EST. For viewers in the UK, the broadcast will begin at 3pm.
