We have new information on Pokemon X and Y, thanks to Serebii. Japan is getting special download cards at retail, which have revealed the games' filesize at 1.7 GB, or 14,000 blocks. If you do try to install both games to one SD card, unfortunately, they will not be able to communicate with each other. Considering the Pokemon Company also announced all languages would be available in all copies of the game, thats a bit of an accomplishment.
Japan is also getting some special edition 3DS LLs for the occassion, with the packaging expressly indicating whether it has Pokemon X or Pokemon Y. No confirmation from Nintendo of America if these will come over, but considering Reggie Fils-Aime has somewhat committed to carrying special edition 3DSes to make up for the lack of available US 3DS color variations, I would consider this a 99 % certainty. There is no way Nintendo would pass up an obvious top seller.
In the rest of the world, retailers are revealing some very desirable pre-order bonuses. Both GAME in the UK and EB Games Australia revealed that they will give out special Pokeballs. Actually, the Pokeball is a Game Card Case that can store as much as three 3DS cartridges.

In the meantime, someone in nSider2 forums has revealed what he believes is GameStop's exclusive: a special edition, double sided poster. One side is a map of Kalos, while the other depicts Legendary Pokemon Xerneas and Yveltal.
Are any of these incentives enough to tide you over into getting the game in stores? Or would you prefer to download directly from the eShop and get it as soon as its available?
