Cliff Bleszinski Teases His Next Project

August 1, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The Last of Us concept artist involved in project.

Cliff Bleszinski, most widely known for his work at EPIC on the Unreal Engine and as design director of the Gears of War franchise, has teased an image from his next project.

Taking to Twitter Bleszinski posted:

Here's a sneak peek at something I'm working on that has been cropped. http://t.co/bKCNMxPnkY

Polygon reports that the image was created by artist Shaddy Safadi, a concept designer who has previously worked on Naughty Dog's The Last of Us.

There aren't many details but we do see an armed solider near a military patrol boat in the foreground along with what appears to be a bridge in the background and two sentries. For an expanded version of the image, have a look here.

Bleszinski left EPIC last October having worked there since he was 17. He has said that he wants to start off small but would like to return to AAA development.

He hopes that by going independently he can "redefine his legacy".
