Behind the Scenes of The Division’s E3 2013 Presentation

July 19, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Massive and Ubisoft have released a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation needed to present the game at this year’s E3.

Massive Entertainment has put together a new video going behind the scenes of The Division, and the process it took in preparation of the game's reveal earlier this year at E3 2013.

According to the video, the team had plenty of things to work on even a week prior to the game's presentation at the event, and many key components, such as the UI, website, and basic game information had been relatively incomplete.

Creative director Nicklas Cederstrom even discusses the wilderness survival training course he took in order to become familiarized with some of the things the player characters will go through in the game.

I don't know why he'd bother to do that, given that the experience of playing the game is hardly the same as being within the game itself. That being said, the act of immersing oneself in one's creation is pretty darn commendable.

Watch the video below.
