Ubisoft to Launch The Division in Late 2014

July 19, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The Crew will release early next year, Watch Dogs to sell 6.2 million copies.

During a Ubisoft investor conference call last night the company's CEO, Yves Guillemot, revealed that The Division, announced at E3 last month, will be released in late 2014. The game is set for PS4 and Xbox One.

Other information that came to light during the conference call is the fact that The Crew, a open world racer being developed by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections, will be released during the first quarter of 2014 which means sometime before April next year.

Ubisoft also has an unannounced franchise which has been delayed from the current financial year to financial year 2015 – which means it will release sometime between April 2014 and April 2015.

Guillemot says Ubisoft expects Watch_Dogs, set for release later this year, to sell more than 6.2 million copies. The company calculated the figure by comparing the post-E3 buzz for the game to that of the first Assassin's Creed which sold six million units.
