The Holy Grail and the Knights Templar have been the subject of many pieces of fiction. Their appearance in fiction dates all the way back to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Robin Hood and his portrayal of the Templars as villains, all the way up to the Assassin's Creed series.
The First Templar builds upon popular mythology and tells the story of the Holy Grail and how it was lost, and is developed by Haemimont Games, which is known for their strategy games Tropico, and Imperium Romanum.
The First Templar is a cooperative action game that's due for release on May 10 on both the PC and Xbox 360.
