Empire Arcadia's Flocker has beaten Justin Wong in the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 grand finals.
Flocker's team of Zero, Vergil and Hawkeye has proven itself to be a great trio. His Zero play was awe-inspiring, with lightning loops that blew through characters with ease. Flocker's anchor Hawkeye had chip damage that was unbearable with a level 3 X-Factor. And… well. Vergil is Vergil.
It was an amazingly tense grand finals as Justin came back from the loser's bracket, resetting the match to an even playing field. It's been said many times by members in the FGC that Justin should drop Storm and use someone else instead, but he's been committed to her and has shown that she has a place on his team. Could Justin have beaten Flocker with a stronger character replacing Storm? That's something that he'll have to re-evaluate.
Capcom's Yoshinori Ono also made an appearance at the end of the UMvC3 tournament to announce the name of the next SFIV update, Ultra Street Fighter IV.
