With the release only a few months away, Killzone: Mercenary will enter a closed beta testing phase. PS Vita owners can sign up for the closed beta here. If you decide to participate, sign-ups will close on Wednesday, July 17th at 2pm PDT or 5pm EST.
If your application goes through, you will receive an email with instruction to download the beta that includes participation in the Killzone: Mercenary multiplayer.
Killzone: Mercenary will feature three different games modes and eight players total in a single match. Games modes like Mercenary Warfare will put players in a free-for-all battle to earn the most Vektan Dollars while Guerilla Warfare follows the classic team deathmatch structure. The last mode, Warzone, presents multiple objectives to each team in which both factions need to complete to win the game.
Killzone: Mercenary will also feature six maps that provide both a flat playing field or one with a lot of verticality.
Killzone: Mercenary will launch on the PlayStation Vita this September 10th.
