Japanese Gamer Plays Call of Duty During Earthquake

March 22, 2011

A Japanese gamer continued to play his game of Call of Duty even as the earthquake shook the earth beneath his feet.

A Japanese gamer who was recording his online match of Call of Duty: Black Ops continued to play the game even as the earthquake, which went on to leave hundreds of thousands of people devastated, hit Japan.

Sounds of heavy rattling and shaking can be heard through his microphone throughout all three minutes of the video. The gamer who is at first surprised by the event only pauses his game—begging his teammates to wait—to shield his PC from toppling over as the violent earthquake reaches a crescendo.

After the tremors subside, he continues the game. Like a boss.
