At the Japan Expo event in Paris earlier this week Square Enix released 13 minutes of gameplay footage for Final Fantasy: Lightning Returns XIII.
This is the second video from Japan Expo to emerge for the game. Yesterday, a story trailer revealed Lightning's role in the title and also confirmed the return of Oerba Yun Fang and Noel Kreiss who have appeared in previous entries in the Lightning saga. Returns is set to be the final part of the series.
In Lightning Returns the elder Farron sister has been tasked by God with saving as many people as possible from her dying world and bringing them to a new world. She has just seven days to do so at the start of the game but players can extend the deadline to 13 days by performing various tasks.
Lightning Returns is set to be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 11th 2014 in North America and on February 14th in Europe. Pre-orders will net players Cloud's outfit and buster sword from Final Fantasy VII.
