Splinter Cell: Blacklist Gameplay Demos Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer

June 27, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

See the Spies vs. Mercs gameplay in action.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will release later this summer and bring back the beloved Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer.

In Classic Mode it will put a team of two Spies against a team of two Mercs. The Spies will try and hack 3 terminals that the Mercs will try to protect. Using their agility and quickness, Spies can move from shadow to shadow to remain hidden from the Mercs. To reach higher ground, Spies can climb through vents and also climb pipes.

While the Spies play in a third-person perspective, Mercs will play in a first-person view with a flashlight to peer into the dark spots on maps. Loaded with heavy weapons and armor, they can quickly kill the Spies. Like the Spies, the Mercs will try to stay hidden but also take advantage of the power they wield.

The full game will also feature a Blacklist mode that features a 4 vs. 4 structure that Ubisoft will reveal more about in the future.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will launch this summer on August 20th.
