Company of Heroes 2 Dev Diary Discusses Multiplayer Strategy

June 20, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Multiplayer strategy is the subject of this week’s dev diary.

company of heroes 2

The makers of Company of Heroes 2, Relic Entertainment, have released a new developer diary to talk about the game's multiplayer strategy.

They go into no small amount of depth about how players can use the terrain to their advantage, recover from serious setbacks, and employ various styles of play instead of utilizing cookie cutter rush builds typical to most other real-time strategy games.

In the developer diary, seen below, Relic talks about its ambitions for the game's multiplayer mode, the feel of the disparate factions, the new online progression system, and everything in-between. The trailer also provides a good look at the game's multiplayer gameplay—useful if you haven't found yourself the time to check out the game's open beta.

Company of Heroes 2 is set for release on June 25. Stay tuned to our review before then.
