Ryse: Son of Rome Announced for Xbox One

Microsoft unveiled new gameplay footage of Ryse: Son of Rome at E3 today, showcasing what we can expect from the next-generation of consoles. 

It was stated in the introduction that this will be one of two new franchises that will debut on the Xbox One as an exclusive title.

You play as Marius Titus, a leader in the Roman Empire and—as evidenced by the gameplay—a killer among men. No, you're not Kratos, but you're powered by just as many quicktime events.

In the gameplay trailer, you're shown controlling your soldiers and trying to destroy a tower and the soldiers trying to protect it.

It will be powered by the latest cryengine and is currently still in development.

A demo is now playable at the expo this week.
