Banjo Kazooie, Killer Instinct and Battletoads Official Pages Surface

June 6, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Three old franchises have resurfaced on Rare’s official website.

Fans hopeful for the revival of Rare IPs may have even more reason to hold their breath for Microsoft's presentation at E3 this year, as the company today updated its website with three new pages for games you might've heard of: Killer Instinct, Battletoads, and Banjo Kazooie (via GimmeGimmeGames).

For now, the pages remain empty, but there's good reason to believe that they're placeholders for titles that Rare may be intending to revive.

Neither Microsoft and Rare have made any official statements regarding the update of the website, nor have they made any announcements as to the status of the aforementioned games.

We remain hopeful that the studio will announce these games at E3, as they're likely to rekindle the nostalgia of gamers who grew up with them.

We'll keep you up to date with the details as they become available.
