Many People Used Their Consoles To Watch The Season 4 Premier Of Arrested Development

May 31, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

Maybe MS is onto something, by concentrating on television instead of games with their new system? Okay, maybe not.

So, what did you do this past Sunday? Catch the long awaited return of Arrested Development? You're not the only one. And did you do so on your Xbox 360 or PS3? Again, you're not the only one.

According to a report cited by Joystiq, many people caught up with the Bluths after an eight year absence last weekend, which attributed to a 10 percent overall spike in Netflix usage, with the aforementioned consoles being the two lead devices to do so.

Apparently, more than 40% of all PS3 users who stream Netflix were watching the premier, and that percentage is even high on the 360, at 50%. Though the later figure is hardly a shock; it is assumed that everyone's dash was bombarded with a heads up about the pending premiere during the week leading up.
