Sonic Lost World Details Revealed: Exclusive 3DS and Wii U Features

May 29, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Sonic Lost World will be getting exclusive features on the two Nintendo platforms.

Sonic Lost World

Nintendo has released new details about Sega's upcoming title, Sonic Lost World, alongside a host of screenshots.

Sonic Lost World is a return of Sonic to his earlier roots, away from the hodgepodge of nonsense with swords and karts. The story's a bit weird this time around as it sees Sonic teaming up with his arch-nemesis Dr. Eggman to take on a group of fiends known as the Deadly Six.

In addition to the game's single-player storyline, both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game are slated to offer a wide range of competitive multiplayer modes.

Each version of the game will offer unique features, with the Wii U edition seeing exclusive Color Powers that are controlled with the Wii U GamePad by tilting, touching and aiming. This version of the game is also playable using only the GAmePad screen and includes a two-player support mode.

Likewise, the 3DS version will offer exclusive special stages and Color Powers.

Check out the screenshots below.
