Fightback Announced by Ninja Theory for Mobile Platforms

May 24, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Game coming to iOS and Android.

Following a teaser yesterday and the trademarking of the name Fightback Ninja Theory has officially announced the title as a free-to-play game heading to the App Store and Google Play.

The DmC: Devil May Cry developer described the game in a press release as a "thrilling free-to-play action game with a striking 80s action movie vibe and a revolutionary touch-based combat system."

Dominic Matthews, Ninja Theory's product manager, added "Mobile and tablet gaming is a phenomenon that we just couldn't ignore as a studio. Ninja Theory has always strived for the highest production values and that absolutely remains the case in this exciting new space."

Chillingo's Ed Rumley commented "Chillingo is very excited to collaborate with such a talented, critically-acclaimed studio to help shape their first title for the mobile market. Our team is working closely with Ninja Theory to ensure Fightback delivers a phenomenal experience for mobile and tablet devices."

Fightback will be playable at E3.
