SEGA just released a cinematic trailer for Company of Heroes 2, which showcases the brutality of the eastern front and the fickle nature of battle, while providing a personal account of a Soviet Red Army soldier.
The game is set in 1941 and takes place at the beginning of what will become the most brutal conflict of World War II, as Germany launches a full-scale invasion of the frozen tundra of the Soviet Union which would result in over 14 million military casualties.
Players must take command of the iconic Soviet Red Army in brutal frontline warfare to free Russia from the invading Nazis.
Like the previous games in the Company of Heroes series, the game places a strong emphasis on strategic skills and tactical expertise. This time around, you'll be taking back Stalingrad and bringing the fight all the way to Berlin.
The game is set to ship with Theater of War mode as a bonus for all pre-order customers.
