Sci-fi simulation RPG Starpoint Gemini Warlords has undergone some positively gigantic renovations on Steam. Originally released last year, Little Green Men Games has been quietly restructuring the game’s diplomacy system and also introduced a wide-scale list of fixes that target crashing, glitches, the hint system and general performance issues.
Diplomacy now has a much more substantial impact, even in casual decision making. Players should expect a dynanmic ‘War Dialogue’ which is both realistic and unpredictable; foreign factions can hail you, but on a whim, declare you their enemy even if they’re neutrally aligned. Others might suggest forming an alliance so you can conquer the Gemini in a unified front — but even the holiest allies could turn on you, so a discerning mind is essential. Dennis conducted a more in-depth examination of Starpoint Gemini Warlords in his review, which you can check out here.
