Far Cry 5 Update Coming Next Week; Improves Co-Op Connectivity and Various Stability and Performance Enhancements

Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 is getting an update next week, and it improves co-op connectivity, fixes minor gameplay and progression bugs and performs general performance and stability improvements. The update is already available for download for PC players, while console players will have to wait till tomorrow to get the update.

  • Fixed low occurrence crashes and walkthrough breaks

  • Fixed low occurrence save corruption

  • Fixed low repro AI issues

  • Improved COOP connectivity
  • Fixed low occurrence COOP specific walkthrough breaks
  • Fixed voice communication issue where players could be permanently muted
  • Hurk was blowing up the client player when in a helicopter, fixed that.

Far Cry Arcade

  • Improved map download efficiency
  • Fixed various Arcade gameplay issues
  • Fixed issue where map textures would be extremely low
  • Improved PVP matchmaking
  • Fixed lobby loadout selection and map selection issues

Map Editor

  • Fixed issue with Arcade Editor crashes
