Two new videos have been issued today for the upcoming PlayStation 3 title Puppeteer which is due to be released on September 10th in North America and September 11th in Europe for $39.99/€39.99 from Sony Japan Studios at retail and from the PS Store.
The first trailer highlight's the special Head Animations. The game's hero, Kutaro, is a wooden puppet – hence the game's name – who doesn't have a head as a result of being transformed from a boy into the wooden doll. As such, Kutaro must find and utilise the heads he finds throughout the game in an effort to recover his own head from the Moon Bear King and his 12 generals.
This process, as well as the Moon Bear King's rise to power, has been explained by the previously released story trailer.
The second trailer meanwhile showcases a short clip of the title's gameplay. We see Kutaro using a giant scissors to defeat enemies and advance through the levels in what appears to be classic platformer style. You can check out both trailers below.
