Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Gets European Release Date, Detailed Art Book

May 7, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Look to pick up Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix this September.

If you’re a fan of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, it’s safe to say that almost any new project staring the colorful cast of Disney and Square characters will get you more excited than Pooh Bear with his head lodged tightly in a jar of honey. Even HD remakes of past adventures are an event, and for those who never had a chance to experience the handheld versions of Sora’s story, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will be a perfect fit. According to the PlayStation Blog, the triple pack can now be pre-ordered in Europe, and will be arriving to the PlayStation 3 Sept. 13.

What will you get in the standard box? Included in this HD package are Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories , and Kingdom hearts 358/2 Days with new, high quality story videos. Packed into all of these games will be a slew of PlayStation 3 trophies to seek out.

Those who pre-order the game right now on the official website will be rewarded with a special, limited-run art book edition from selected retailers, which is a compilation of art from all three games in this extensive pack. Characters, weapons, and locations will be splayed across the pages in all the bright colors you expect from a Kingdom Hearts game.

There are only so many books available, so if you’re interested, make sure to claim yours right now. However, as previously stated, all this is for Europe only at this time. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will make its way to the PAL territories Sept. 13, but don’t expect the U.S. release date to be that far off, either.
