A may have only been revealed yesterday, but an image for one of the pre-order bonuses for Call of Duty: Ghosts has been discovered. Those who put a chunk of cash down on the game right now will receive both a poster of the game and an exclusive camo for one of the guns. It just takes $5 in order to land both of these pieces of additional content.
The weapon skin can be seen in the above image, but when it comes to the poster, there’s a bit of a loophole that’s been discovered. Although consumers will have to put down $5 in order to see the poster hanging up on the wall, there’s no requirement to actually purchase the game when it releases. As always, those who pre-order a game can cancel it at any time, so if a buyer just wants the poster, he or she can put the $5 down and remove it right after.
This can be done as many times as necessary at any number of GameStops. So, if you have three local stores in your area, you can come home today with three separate posters. And, according to one of the users on Reddit who has discovered this loophole, the Black Ops II posters were selling for around $25 on Ebay last year.
Other Call of Duty news released this morning. Unlike Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games will not be working on Ghosts. It’s unknown if that means the team is just twiddling its thumbs or developing a new IP, but it seems as if Infinity Ward is on its own this time around.
