GRID 2’s Latest Trailer Fires on all Cylinders

Codemasters reveal nearly an hour of footage.

GRID 2 Uncovered developer Codemasters have released nearly an hour of gameplay footage in the latest stream of the upcoming racer. 

The 'Overtake, Time Attack, Customisation' trailer does exactly what the name suggests highlighing a host of new features and content for the sequel. Shot on April 25th the stream goes into depth on the Overtake and Time Attack modes as well as showcasing the modifications you can make in the title's career mode. 

A new trailer, below, showcases the Cote d'Azur track at night and features the Nissan Skyline R34. 

If that's not enough for you below are six minutes of GRID 2's multiplayer footage from the Algarve Track. 

Earlier this month details of the game's multiplayer were revealed. Players will be able to start with a set of pre-defined option and meets gamers with similar play-styles as they progress. Matches will be connected via RaceNet, Codemasters' browser- based extension, which keeps tabs on progress, achievements, rewards, races and Rivals. 

Rivals are a new feature on RaceNet and can be a weekly rival – based on your player level – a social rival – a friend you've met in the game – or a custom rival. Custom rivals are selected using other parameters. 

GRID 2 Uncovered is set for release on May 28th in North American and May 31st in Europe for PlayStatiobn 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The original game, Race Driver: GRID, was released in 2008.
