Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros Coming to 3DS this Summer

April 17, 2013 by Jordan Erica Webber

The game will launch in July in the EU, August in the US.

In today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo provided more information on Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros, which was first announced in the Nintendo Direct broadcast in February this year. We're told that the game takes place on Pi'illo Island; Mario and his friends visit the island for some sightseeing, but – of course – Peach ends up disappearing, though the kidnapper's identity remains a mystery as the clip shows her vanishing into what looks like a cloud of smoke.

So, Mario sets off to save her, and if you want to play co-op you can bring Luigi along too. The game will take advantage of the 3DS features, as the player will use the bottom screen to solve puzzles on the top screen. Apparently we're in for some pretty bizarre situations, including ones in which Mario must use dozens of Luigi's to transport him around.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros will launch in Europe on July 12 and in North America on August 11. Will you be picking it up?
