Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS. You can plant trees, swim for hours, dig up treasures, and perform a wide variety of other activities for countless hours while creating your "happy place".
This time around, you take on the role of the mayor, where you will be capable of making decisions that affect your character's virtual life and how your city grows. It's a bit like The Sims, but with a whole town at your fingertips.
You can visit other players' homes and towns through local wireless and online play, allowing up to four players to interact simultaneously.
The video's been done in the form of a tourism advertisement and invites players to spend their time away from real life in this make-belief fantasy world where free time goes to die.
