Lenovo Delays Zacate ThinkPad

February 15, 2011 by Eric Swain

Lenovo has delayed their Zacate ThinkPad.

Lately i felt that in the tech world we have been seeing a ton of delays. Now Lenovo takes part in the postpones with their Zacate ThinkPad. Zacate ThinkPad was to be released February 15 however we are now looking at a release date of March 8. Lenovo has confirmed yesterday that the official launch of the new notebook will be March 8 but did not give any details of what caused this delay on Twitter. Last seen the notebook was shown off at the CES 2011 show.

Zacate ThinkPad will run you about $400 with AMD's E-350 processor. You can also expect to see a 11.6" display running Windows 7 Professional, weight of less than three pounds and a battery life lasting about a full six hours. Rumors have it that the new ThinkPad will set to run against the HP Pavilion dm1 which has the same processor and display size. However pricing for the Hp Pavilion dm1 will cost you a extra $50.
