Just as we suggested yesterday, Rockstar Games was due to release the official box art for its upcoming game, Grand Theft Auto 5, this week. By "this week" they apparently meant "tomorrow", and have since released the official artwork that's set to grace the game's box covers once the game comes out in stores later this year.
The artwork they released is almost, but not exactly the same as the mock-up we posted yesterday. The characters are all in the right positions but the colors and some of the artwork are slightly different. The whole thing looks like a spruced up version of the picture floating around the web.

The artwork features the game's three main characters, Franklin, Michael, and Trevor, and an assortment of the activities you'll be able to engage in during the game.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will be out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17, 2013.
