Anyone who owns a Relic RTS from the "Dawn of War" series will be happy to discover that they are eligible for the beta of "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Retribution" through their Steam accounts.
Additionally, gamers without any of those titles can sign up for the beta by registering on the Dawn of War Community Site to participate in their beta giveaway.
The beta will feature all six multiplayer races including the Imperial Guard faction new to Retribution and unlike the original "Dawn of War II", the new game will be powered by the Steamworks networking and matchmaking features that also power "Left 4 Dead 2" and "Team Fortress 2."
Players are encouraged to help balance the new multiplayer beta, which will run from now until February 24th. Feedback is expected to go into a day-zero balancing patch that will come out upon the game's release next month.
