The Unfinished Swan Developer Announces New Game

March 21, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Only a piece of concept art is revealed.

The makers of the PlayStation 3-exclusive title The Unfinished Swan have announced their development on a new game. It remains not-quite-titled for now, with the developers calling it the "Unannounced Giant Sparrow Project".

Its developers at Giant Sparrow teased the game on a page on their studio website called Edith Finch which depicts an empty, if elaborate picture frame.

The studio says that the game is not a sequel to their previous title but that "it's not a million miles away either".

They note: "If you like surreal experiences and games that aren't much like anything you've ever played before then you'll probably like it."

No platforms have been announced as of yet, and the game is expected to take almost as long to develop as its previous title, which took the studio three years to make.
