An ambitious group of Russian modders called World of Stalker are making an attempt to remake "STALKER" with "Crysis" by essentially using Crytek's much more powerful CryEngine 2 as a platform for the total conversion.
Titled "Cry Zone: Sector 23," the mod has big plans to carry over the desolate wastelands of Pripyat into Crysis.
It will feature the same destructibility and physics of "Crysis" with some new features like a Far Cry 2 style healing system.
So far, the mod looks spectacular and with any luck, it'll probably be released before the other big name mod that's currently in development, Black Mesa. Official Site
