Xbox One X To Launch With 70 Enhanced Titles

You’ll have a decent selection of enhanced titles when the Xbox One X releases.

Microsoft’s upcoming console, the Xbox One X is set to release next week. With the main selling point of the console being its upgraded hardware, it’s worth it to know just how many games will be supporting the beefed up console during launch.

According to Xbox senior director for console marketing Albert Penello, you’ll have a decent selection of games at launch.

On Twitter, Penello wrote, “I think we’re going to hit in the neighborhood of 70 right around release. I’m pleased given how many people said no devs would support.” When asked for clarification on what “around release” meant, Penello said, “Not being cagey but I’m thinking within the first week we’ll get to that number.”

It’s important to note that ‘enhanced’ doesn’t necessarily constitute 4K, for some games it could mean sharper textures, others High Dynamic Range (HDR) color or stronger rendering capabilities.
