Mass Effect 3 Operation: Firestorm Revealed for the Weekend

Another work week is coming to a close and that means it's time for another Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenge for the weekend.

Announced by BioWare on their official blog, BioWare is calling this week's challenge "Operation: Firestorm," and will have players completing challenges in order to net Commendation Packs.

This week's event description reads, "The Reapers have changed their tactics in an effort to prevent us from whittling them down. As they conquer rural areas, their fighting groups are fewer but larger, making them more difficult to assail. Accordingly, we are hitting them in the cities to deliver as much damage as possible before evacuation."

In gaming terms, that means a squad must "Earn the “Killstreak 3” squad medal. (As a squad, kill 5 enemies together 3 separate times.)."

Completion of the challenge will net you the now-standard Commendation Pack. Participating players should remember to turn the "feedback option" on in the options menu to be able to be part of the event. 

While I appreciate BioWare's effort in creating these challenges, let's hope next week's event is a little more varied and include a Victory Pack just to shake things up.
