Rockstar Reveals Red Dead Redemption 2 Announcement Coming Next Week

September 23, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

Rockstar Games preparing for RDR 2 news!

Rockstar Games has crafted up a number of incredible pieces of work. Their beloved long-running series Grand Theft Auto, the single IP release of Bully, and of course their old western series, Red Dead Redemption just to name a few. Red Dead Redemption has a massive following and gamers all over the world are undoubtedly waiting for new information to trickle down from Rockstar for their upcoming installment, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Originally slated to release this fall, the development team has since delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 with only a few screenshots and a single announcement trailer available online. Since then, Rockstar has been awfully quiet in terms of what to expect, that is until now.

A single image has surfaced online through the official Rockstar Games Twitter account. The image only has a time and date, but it’s decorated in the theme and assets for the Red Dead Redemption franchise. Apparently, we’re going to get some type of news for Red Dead Redemption 2 on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 11 AM ET.

Just what information will be unveiled this coming Thursday remains to be seen, but already fans have been chiming in online for what they hope to see when the date officially arrives. We’re hoping for some gameplay footage and possible a narrative story attached as well.

Others have stated their hopes that a PC version will be confirmed along with a remastered edition of Red Dead Redemption slated to launch alongside the sequel for the PC platform. This is certainly one franchise that PC gamers have been asking for since its release though Rockstar Games has yet to make any confirmation that the past title or the upcoming sequel will see a release on the desired platform.

At any rate, let us know what you hope to see get announced this Thursday by dropping a comment down below!

Within Red Dead Redemption 2 players will follow the outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they flee the law in this upcoming installment of the gritty western.
