Because Blizzard takes forever to make anything themselves and because World of Warcraft is doing so frighteningly well, fans got tired of waiting and made their own MMO based around the universe of StarCraft. Apparently the StarCraft 2 map editing tools are so freakishly deep these fans were able to make a pre-alpha version of the MMO. They are calling it World of StarCraft. It looks like they were able to make a high production MMO using the tools or at least a video of one. The interface cribs more than a little form WoW. Take a look.
