Because Blizzard takes forever to make anything and because frankly World of Warcraft is doing so frighteningly well they never got around to making that StarCraft MMO. Well a bunch of fans got tired of waiting and thanks to the apparently freakishly deep StarCraft 2 map editor these fans created a pre-alpha version of what the dub World of StarCraft. Taking more than a few pointers from the WoW interface these fans have managed to make a very well produced looking MMO or at least a video of one. Take a look.
