If you’ve been wondering where you free loot box has been after a round in Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch in Overwatch, don’t worry Blizzard is looking into the issue.
Taking to Blizzard’s forums, players began posting that they hadn’t been receiving their loot box after the first win of the day in the mode:
‘With the new deathmatch game it says there is still a first win reward for me. I have won twice once first and second place but neither time I have gotten the lootbox. Is anyone else experiencing this?’
The issue is fairly recent and considering the mode has been out for quite some time now, it’s fairly likely the issue came about during the introduction of the game’s latest patch.
You shouldn’t worry too much though; reliability engineer at Blizzard, Jeff Brill, confirmed they’re looking into it, but whether those players who didn’t receive their boxes will be awarded one retroactively or if they’ll have to win another match is still to be determined.
