Telltale's The Walking Dead has been the surprise winner of many end of the year accolades. Helping its case further is the red hot popular franchise that its based upon, so there's a safe bet that most people reading this has taken the plunge. But for those of you who have not, here's your risk free chance.
Up until December 31st, the first episode, A New Day, is totally free for both Xbox 360 owners and iPhone/iPad/iPad Mini/iPhone Touch owners. How it works is like this: the game as a whole is one five episode long season. The remaining four can be nabbed for 400 Microsoft Points each. That's five dollars a pop in human money.
Meanwhile, on the iOS side of things, you can grab the rest of the season for the discounted price of just fifteen dollars. Alas, no such option exists on the Xbox Marketplace.
