WW2 Tank Based multiplayer action game World of Tanks has been confirmed to receive an Xbox One X enhancement patch during Microsoft’s Gamescom press event yesterday.
The free-to-play title will run in native 4K, bring the destructive warzones of World of Tanks to life even more so. While your monitor may not be 4K, Wargaming released a brand new trailer to illustrate the enhanced quality of the title.
Microsoft and Wargaming also confirmed that the game will support Xbox Arena Tournament play, providing competitive players with far more infrastructural support on Xbox than they will anywhere else.
“What is World of Tanks?” you may be asking yourself. Well simply put, it’s the most successful tank action\MMO\shooter out there and now it’s coming to PS4. You choose from a variety of tanks from different nations (ex. USA, Germany, Russia, etc.) to get started, and then hop into battle. Every match earns you rewards to upgrade your tanks and acquire new ones. You can also use these resources to customize your tanks with supplies, equipment, camos, emblems and inscriptions.
World of Tanks is available now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Excited to see your favourite free-to-play shooter run in Native 4K? Let us know in the comments below.
