Christmas is getting pretty close, and Sony is closing in on the end of its “12 Deals of Christmas” offer that has been running all month on the EU PlayStation Store. Today, Chris Howe (PS Store and Plus Content Manager) reveals the 10th of these 12 deals: The Unfinished Swan & Journey bundle.
I didn't even know there was a bundle, and I'm slightly annoyed because I already have Journey but would quite like to pick up The Unfinished Swan for peanuts, but if you've had your eye on both these games for a while then this is a pretty good deal. The bundle used to cost £19.98/€25.98, but will now only set you back £9.99/€12.99 (i.e., half price). PlayStation Plus members get an even bigger discount, with an extra 10% off bringing the price down to £8.99/€11.69.
Journey and The Unfinished Swan are both unique indie titles that have really made their mark. For instance, they're the first two games mentioned in the “Top 10 Most Innovative Video Games of 2012” list published in Popular Mechanics. If you haven't played either, this is a really good opportunity to give them both a go without too much of a risk factor; even if you find that artsy games are not your thing, you've only lost a tenner. Just make sure you buy before the deal expires at 11:59pm tomorrow.
