Game Director Describes Naughty Dog as A “Melting Pot of New Ideas;” Another Uncharted Game a Possibility

Naughty Dog definitely have their hands full at the moment, with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy just a few days away from release, and after its release, the development team will completely shift focus to completing The Last of Us II.

However, this doesn’t stop Naughty Dog’s creativity to run wild, as they are already thinking of new ideas and new worlds to explore after they’re done with The Last of Us II. Game Director Shaun Escayg was recently featured in an interview with the Daily Star where he admitted they don’t know exactly what they’re doing after the sequel, but they are definitely open to discovering new worlds and trying out new and creative ideas. He described the studio as a “constant melting pot of new ideas.”

We don’t know what the future holds, but you’re right, it could be something new. It could be another Uncharted, who knows. Naughty Dog is not afraid of exploring more stuff.

The entire studio is like that, everyone wants to try something new. There are so many new ideas, it’s the culture at Naughty Dog, we love ideas.

The studio right now is just teeming with new content and new ideas building up new worlds, new genres. it’s a constant melting pot of new ideas.

What do you think Naughty Dog will do after The Last of Us II’s release?
