Pokedex Now Available On iOS

Today Pokemon afficionados across North America and Europe can get download the Pokedex for iOS, a comprehensive mobile guide of more than 640 critters in the Pokemon kingdom. Available for iPhone, iPad, iPad mini and iPod Touch, this illustrated encyclopedia will allow users to look up a range of info on each of the Pokemon, from their stats, to how to evolve them, and where to find them. Pokemon can also be browsed by number, move, Ability, and type.

The base app for $1.99 provides all the Pokemon from the Unova region, while the four additional regions of Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Hoenn will cost $5.99 a piece. You can pick it up over at the Apple Store, where the user reviews so far praise the convenience, but not the $27 total price tag.
