Glyphs Apprentice Casts a Formidable, Puzzling Spell

Punishing puzzle game Glyphs Apprentice puts you into the role of an apprentice mage who’s learning the ropes of magic. Inspired by games like The Codex of Alchemical Engineering, it differs from other puzzle titles thanks to its design-based gameplay.

Players need to take raw magical energy and match it to shapes using a variety of ‘arm’ tools. These arm tools also help activate other parts of the board; by feeding instructions to the arm tool, it can extend, spin, retract and grab onto thing. Generators create raw magical energy which ultimately needs to be transformed into augmented energy. In total, eight different energies must be created to solve a puzzle and progress to the next stage. There are also easy, medium and hard difficulties to choose between on your way to becoming a proper Mystic and joining the elusive Circle of Mages.
