Angry Birds has been announced to be released for the PSN later this week. It is being released as a PSN mini so it can be played on both the PlayStation 3 and PSP. I'm not really sure who this release is for. Given that Angry Birds is a mobile game I can't see it doing well for PS3 players. Plus, the iPhone already is a mobile platform with a huge install base. But then again, sales are sales and it's not like it's taking up physical shelf space.
