Assassin’s Creed 3 Expanded With The Hidden Secrets DLC

Ubisoft has announced that the first content pack for Assassin's Creed III, titled The Hidden Secrets, is now available for DLC Season Pass holders on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. 

Those without the Season Pass will be able to pick it up next week on December 11. The publisher says that it will also be available for the Wii U at a slightly later date.

The Hidden Secrets Pack adds three new missions to the game, including The Lost Mayan Ruins, the Ghost of War, and a Dangerous Secret—all of which were available as special pre-order items to selected retailers. The missions add an additional hour of gameplay and send players off to explore lost Mayan ruins, and to the high seas. The player is awarded with new in-game weapons at the completion of each mission. These include:

• Two single-player costumes including the fabled Captain of the Aquila uniform and the traditional Colonial Assassin outfit 

• Two multiplayer characters including the fearsome Redcoat and the deadly Sharpshooter

Holders of the Assassin's Creed 3 season pass will also receive five future downloadable content packs, one of which is set to expand the game with "The Tyranny of King Washington", an all new single-player campaign, among other things.

Also forthcoming is "The Battle Hardened" pack, which adds new maps and characters for the game's multiplayer experience. 

All the content will be made available for purchase separately for those without the Season Pass. 

Assassin’s Creed III is now available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. For Windows PC gamers, the Assassin’s Creed III Deluxe Edition is available as a digital download and includes all future downloadable content.
