Just the other day, we reported on how Black Ops 2's leaderboards and stats were getting bugged out and not registering for some players at all. Fortunately for stat-caring fans, Treyarch has implemented a stat reset fix and all the lost stats will be restored starting today and onwards.
This was revealed by Treyarch themselves over on their official Twitter feed where they tweeted the following:
Leaderboards have been re-enabled and we’ll be restoring entries for those impacted over the coming days. Thanks for your patience.
So, this means that accessing the leaderboards should be back to normal now. If not, they are restoring entries so give it a little more time. For those not concerned with leaderboards and how everyone else is faring except your own (like me), just trudge along normally and hope that the issues plaguing the game now gets resolved soon.
Is there anyone there who still has problems with their stats or their leaderboards aren't showing them a thing? Mind you, I wouldn't count on the global leaderboards to be accurate as most people cheat their way to the top for some unknown reason.
