Assassin’s Creed Origins Won’t Feature Online Multiplayer; “Primarily a Single-Player Experience. “

Assassin’s Creed franchise is definitely one of the biggest IPs Ubisoft has, and the new title, Assassin’s Creed Origins, looks more promising than ever. Assassin’s Creed Director Ashraf Ismail decided to clarify a few points during E3 Coliseum panel, which you can watch below. Ismail revealed the game won’t feature multiplayer, which is something that has been absent from a few of the latest Assassin’s Creed titles. However, online features are still present in the game but only to enhance your experience.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is primarily a single-player experience. We do have online features that are there to enhance that experience. Later in the (marketing) campaign, we’ll get into more details about those online features but it’s primarily a single-player experience.

He continued to reveal that players will get the chance to control other characters than Ba-Yek during specific quests.

This is primarily Ba-Yek’s story. We do have other playable characters that are played in select quests. There are other playable characters in the story but it is primarily Ba-Yek’s story.

Assassin’s Creed Origins releases on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
