Big Picture Split-screen Co-op Ready for Portal 2 PC

November 21, 2012 by Julie Horup

Find a friend. Now.

Valve has finally decided to add split-screen co-op in Portal 2 when using Big Picture.

So, if your computer is hooked up to your telly, you should probably grab a friend and start playing.

To activate the split-screen mode in co-op, you have to press X on the second controller while in the co-op menu.

The update also fixes a couple of bugs according to this news post on Steam:

  • Fixed controller's ‘quick ping’ button causing the player’s movement to stop.
  • Fixed not being able to exit Robot Enrichment or Create Test Chambers menus with the controller.
